ブリティッシュ・アイビーについて解説しました。

とはいえ「ブリティッシュ・アイビー」なる用語は当のイギリスでは使われず、日本独自の分類・解釈により生まれた言葉＆スタイルと思われます。
（こういうの、日本は巧いですよね）

日本の「アイビールック」（これじたい、アメリカを経由したイギリスのトラッド由来ですが）がイギリスの伝統服装を再解釈した結果……イギリス側では日本独自のスタイルとして認識される可能性があります。

I provided an explanation of British Ivy.

That said, the term British Ivy is not actually used in the UK. It seems to be a concept and style born from Japan’s unique classification and interpretation.
(Japan is quite good at this kind of thing, isn’t it?)

Japan’s Ivy Look (which itself is essentially British trad filtered through America) has reinterpreted traditional British clothing. As a result, there is a possibility that it may be recognized in the UK as a uniquely Japanese style.
