ししいわハウスは、中軽井沢にある3棟からなる次世代ラグジュアリー感覚を満たすリトリート。1はオーナーのフェイさんが、日頃世界各地にいらっしゃるファミリーが集うための施設として建てたブティックホテルです。自然と一体になるように建てられた曲線が麗しい。建築は、ブリツカー賞受賞の坂茂さん。
ダンボールで作られた椅子や照明までスタイリッシュです。館内のあちこちにアートが飾られる。細部まで考え抜かれた知的な空間です。
全11室で、ソーシャルホスピタリティを掲げ、共用スペースが約5割。ゲスト同士の交流が自然に促されるような設計になっています。
SHISHI-IWA HOUSE No. 1
A next-generation luxury retreat in Nakakaruizawa, comprised of three buildings. The first was built by the owner, Faye, as a boutique hotel where his globally dispersed family could gather. The structure is elegantly curved, designed to harmonize with the surrounding nature. Architecture by Shigeru Ban, winner of the Pritzker Prize.
Even the chairs and lighting made of cardboard are stylish. Artworks are displayed throughout the property, creating an intellectually curated space where every detail has been thoughtfully considered.
With just 11 rooms, approximately half of the premises is devoted to common areas designed to foster guest interaction—an embodiment of social hospitality.
