こちらが３棟のなかではメインの建築になります。やはり一目でわかる坂茂さんの設計。（例：スイデンテラス）
切妻屋根と無柱のトラス構造による開放的なパブリックスペースで、旅人どうしの交流も促されます。ゲストの9割が品のよい外国人でした。

ウィスキーコレクションもすばらしく、カウンターで一杯ずつ手でいれていただくコーヒーも美味しい。アートやテーマ性をもった写真コレクション、美装本の数々もさりげなく飾られますが見ごたえあります。

自然にとけこむ開放的で洗練された空間、あたたかくも節度を保ったサービスのなかにいると、人と人との間の壁みたいものが無理なくとれてくることがわかります。ソーシャル・ホスピタリティとは何なのかが体感できるリトリートです。

Shishi-Iwa House No. 2

This is the main building among the three. Once again, the design is unmistakably that of Shigeru Ban.

With its gabled roof and pillarless truss structure, the open public space encourages natural interaction among travelers. Around 90% of the guests were refined international visitors.

In this open, sophisticated space that blends seamlessly with nature, and amid warm yet respectful service, you begin to realize how the invisible walls between people gently dissolve. This retreat offers a tangible experience of what true social hospitality can be.

The main restaurant is also located in this building.
