ブルネロ クチネリ2025秋冬　「直感と理性」

前半はまるで文学部の講義のような展示会でした。2025年秋冬のブルネロ クチネリ・ウィメンズコレクションのテーマは「直感と理性」。

単なる抽象概念にとどまらず、それを表現するビジュアルとして「乗馬」と「英国モチーフ」へと昇華されていました。
乗馬の世界を思わせるテーラリングやカシミアケーブルのジャケット、メタルボタン、しなやかなコーデュロイ、プリンス・オブ・ウェールズ・チェック（＝ガレス）など。英国のカントリーと紳士文化に根ざした素材やシルエットには、18世紀にルソーが唱えた「自然に帰れ」という思想の余韻が漂っています。
しかも、すべてのモチーフが大胆にアップデートされているのです。シャイニーなプリンス・オブ・ウェールズ・チェックには心奪われました。
このコレクションは、都市の理性に対する感性の回復、つまり人間性を取り戻すためのカントリーライフ礼賛の現代的再解釈とも言えるでしょう。その思想的基盤を18世紀のルソーから抽出している、というか。

そんなコレクションに通底するのは、合理性と官能性、構築と緩やかさのバランス。厳格すぎず、甘美すぎない。自然と文化の調和を志向する美意識は、まさに「人文学的ラグジュアリー」の体現になっていました。
世界観を築くために、人文学の深みが必要とされる時代に、ブルネロ クチネリは静かに模範を示し続けています。

The first half of the Brunello Cucinelli Fall/Winter 2025 women’s presentation felt more like a lecture in the humanities than a fashion show. The season’s theme, “Intuition and Reason,” was not left in the realm of abstraction—it was translated into a visual narrative of “Equestrian” and “British motifs.”

Tailoring evocative of the equestrian world, cable-knit cashmere jackets, metal buttons, supple corduroy, and Prince of Wales checks (also known as glen plaid)—these elements rooted in British countryside and gentlemanly traditions carried subtle echoes of Rousseau’s 18th-century call to “return to nature.”

And yet, every motif had been boldly reimagined. I was particularly captivated by the shimmering, almost iridescent take on the Prince of Wales check.

This collection can be seen as a contemporary reinterpretation of country life—a celebration of sensibility in response to urban rationalism, and ultimately, a call to restore our shared humanity. One could say its philosophical foundation draws directly from Rousseau.
