イタリア大使公邸の庭園でブルネロ・クチネリのショー

ブルネロ・クチネリ氏が来日、イタリア大使公邸でショーが披露され、クチネリ氏の情熱的なスピーチを堪能しました。

紅葉を思わせる華やかな庭園のライトアップ。雨が降らなくてほんとうによかった（一日ずれていたら大変なことに）。
ファッションビジネスは関わる人すべてに敬意を払うものでなくてはならないという変わらぬ思想が語られたのですが、それを証明するかのように、壇上にに立つ薄着のモデルたちにコートをかけるという配慮が示され（ケン・ワタナベも続いてコートを）、あたたかな気持ちになりました。

日本とイタリアがファッションを通じて強くつながった素晴らしい一夜でした。

Brunello Cucinelli visited Tokyo, where a beautiful show was presented at the Italian Ambassador’s residence. His passionate speech was a true inspiration.

The illuminated garden, glowing in colors reminiscent of autumn foliage, created a stunning atmosphere — and we were all grateful that the rain held off (one day later would have been a disaster!).

True to his enduring philosophy that fashion must show respect for everyone involved, Cucinelli demonstrated his values in action by gently placing coats over the shoulders of the lightly dressed models on stage — followed by Ken Watanabe doing the same. It was a gesture of warmth and grace that touched everyone present.

It was a wonderful evening that beautifully strengthened the bond between Japan and Italy through fashion.
