『御堂さん』11月号。

「装い文化の履歴書」という特集でインタビューを受け、スーツ360年の歴史について話し、読みやすい記事にしていただきました。

『御堂さん』は、浄土真宗本願寺派が発行する文化誌で、信仰・芸術・暮らしを通して人間の豊かさを考える雑誌です。

はじめてお仕事をさせていただいたのですが、特集にはほかに「お袈裟」の歴史についての専門家の解説もあったりして、学びの多い世界でした。

スーツ業界だけでなく、広く一般の方々にファッションの奥深さと面白さを知っていただきたいと願っています。

The November issue of Mido-san magazine features an interview with me for the special section “The Cultural Biography of Attire,” where I spoke about the 360-year history of the suit.

It was my first time working with the magazine, and I truly appreciated their thoughtful and insightful editorial approach.

Mido-san is a cultural magazine published by the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji sect, exploring the richness of human life through faith, art, and everyday culture.

This issue also includes an enlightening feature on the history of Buddhist robes (kesa), making it a fascinating intersection of attire and spirituality.
